After about three weeks of operating from his private residence, President Muhammadu Buhari will spend his first night in his official residence at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Villa had been undergoing renovation since the previous occupant, former President Goodluck Jonathan, moved out.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, confirmed this development on his Twitter handle.
Adesina tweeted at 9:10pm: President Muhammadu Buhari moves into Aso Villa. To pass first night there today.”
Buhari had earlier on Sunday broken his fast with his family and friends at the Villa though it was not certain then he would spend the night there.
