Breaking: Gov. Ortom appears before Senate panel on Benue killings

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Wednesday appeared before the Senate Panel probing the killings in his State.
The Senate had before now turned down the report of the committee for not having the imput of the governor.
The Senate had observed that while the imput of other stakeholders, including the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, was contained in the report, that of Ortom was missing.
The panel was therefore ordered to get the input of the governor before submitting its report to the Senate.
Ortom was still with the panel as at press time on Wednesday.
