Breaking: Fayose meets bail conditions

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has met the required conditions of his bail.
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State on Wednesday granted him bail following his detention over allegations of fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Fayose, who was said to have met the conditions of the bail by 2pm on Friday, was ordered remanded in prison by the trial judge, Justice Mojisola Olatoregun.
The media aide to the Governor, Lere Olayinka, announced the meeting of the bail condition by Fayose.
Fayose was admitted to bail in the sum of N50 million, with one surety in like sum.
According to Olayinka: “On Ayo Fayose bail, as at 2pm today, all necessary documents were filed before the court and verified.
“Hopefully, he should be out of custody by Monday.
“We thank Nigerians for their support.”
Fayose was charged to court by the EFCC over allegations of N2.2 billion corruption.
