Attah Igala is dead

Prominent traditional ruler, the Attah Igala, Aliyu Obaje, is dead.

Obaje was 102 years old when he died on Monday.
He reportedly died in his palace after being on the throne for 56 years.
He was the Chairman of the Kogi State Traditional Council and Chairman, Igala Iraditional Council.
He became the 26th Attah Igala on November 2, 1956.
