Air Warriors Basketball Club of Abuja on Wednesday announced that they would not participate in the 2024 Zenith Bank Basketball Final 8 to be held in Lagos.
This was contained in a statement issued by Abdulmajid Silademi, the Chairman of the club, on Wednesday in Lagos State.
The club said it was pulling out following the involvement of the bus conveying its players in an accident in Lokoja, Kogi State on their way to Lagos to attend the playoffs.
The club said it would use the time to focus on getting its injured players healed.

The club pledged to come back strong in the future to attend the competition, which it said it held in high esteem.
