The  bandits who planned to dispossess innocent commuters of their valuables  were repelled by police tactical operatives.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Shehu Mohammed, made the confirmation to the News Agency of Nigeria in Gusau on Friday.

In a statement on Saturday the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Mohammed Shehu, said operatives attached to Operation Puff Adder on Thursday were alerted about the presence of a large number of bandits who were moving towards Yarkala Village.
