Saraki, according to a statement by his Special Assistant on New Media, Olu Onemola, said this while receiving the Amnesty International 2017/18 Report on: “The State of the World’s Human Rights,” and the organization’s report on women who survived Boko Haram, but were later maltreated, from its Country Director, Osai Ojigho, in Abuja.

Through the official Twitter page of the Office of the Senate President: @SPNigeria, Saraki stated that the 8th Senate will continue to remain committed to supporting the nation’s Armed Forces in ensuring that families, aid workers, and other civilians that are caught in conflict situations are not affected by violence.
