In line with Tinubu’s directive to make the pilgrimage more affordable, NAHCON announced a major reduction in the 2026 Hajj fares.

For decades, thousands of Muslim faithful from Nigeria’s southern belt undertook tedious journeys to other departure points in Port-Harcourt, Lagos and at times as far as to northern departure centers for the pilgrimage to Makkah.
