The development, he said, followed new investments in renewable energy generated from organic waste.
In a statement on Monday, the state Commissioner for Information, Okey Kanu, said the new head coach is Deutsch Detchoua Gustave Emmanuel.
Otti, while felicitating with the party’s National Caretaker Committee led by Nenadi Usman as chairman and Darlington Nwokocha as secretary, described the judgment as “both heartwarming and timely.”
Otti commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for instituting the policy, describing it as a noble policy which should be encouraged.
Otti stated this while reacting to claims by a chieftain of the APC and former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, Charles Ogbonna.
Otti said he had intensified engagements towards freeing Kanu, a move he confirmed had been initiated more than two years ago.
The governor stated this during the state security fundraising in Aba, adding that his administration has signed necessary documents with Radisson Blu for the commencement of work at the Enyimba Hotel Aba.
He made the vow while speaking during the inauguration of board members of the Abia State Electricity Regulatory Agency (ASERA) on Wednesday.
