The list was unveiled on Monday when they reconvened from their break after confirmation of the ministerial nominees.
Abaribe was re-elected for a sixth tenure in the Upper Chamber in last Saturday’s National Assembly elections on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The Eagle Online recalls that Abaribe had in May withdrawn from the governorship race for Abia State in 2023.
His resignation was conveyed in a letter dated 26th May, 2022.
Senator Abaribe had on Friday announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party and joining of APGA.
Abaribe who is representing Abia South Senatorial district alongside his resignation from the first opposition party relinquished his position as the upper chamber Minority Leader.
Also billed to hold an emergency meeting immediately after plenary is the caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
It was learnt that he will contest on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ozigbo is the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for the election.
Addressing newsmen after a closed door session, which lasted for for two hours, the Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, said the caucus has taken note of the constitutional breaches of the ruling party and at appropriate time the caucus will do the needful to rescue the country
