The United States Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) reviewed its efforts to help Nigeria end HIV as a public health threat by 2030 and introduced its plans for an integrated health services delivery initiative during its 3rd Biannual Program Performance Review and Stakeholder Engagement Meeting from October 17-19.  

AFC Capital Partners plans to raise US$500m in the next twelve months and US$2 billion over the next three years. Over the next five years, the $90 million President’s Malaria Initiative for States (PMI-S) will serve as the flagship activity for the global U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) in Nigeria. Since 2010, PMI has provided $712 million in investments, including the distribution of over 61 million insecticide treated bed nets (ITN), which are now in 43 per cent of all households, twice the rate before the intervention.
