The University’s Vice-Chancellor, (VC) Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, announced this Monday while addressing newsmen ahead of the ceremonies.

Babalola made the call on Sunday at the 9th Convocation ceremony of ABUAD.
The nonagenarian revealed this in Ado Ekiti while receiving the British Deputy High Commissioner in Nigeria, Ben-Llewellyn Jones, who was on official visit to the institution.
Babalola, who is also the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), is reputed to be the largest farmer and highest tax payer in Ekiti State.
Tunde Olofintila, Head, Corporate Affairs of the university, who disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, added that Babalola made the statement while addressing a special session of the university’s Senate.
Babalola said on Monday in Ado-Ekiti that the unified examinations would be for all final year students in every course in Nigerian universities.
Babalola disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday during the laying of the foundation for the ABUAD Industrial Research Park.
