The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested six suspected kidnappers for allegedly kidnapping a nine-year old boy after demanding N5 million ransom in Mubi-South Local Government Area of the state.
The Command spokesman, Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Yola on Monday.
He said the suspects kidnapped the victim, Mustapha Ibrahim, on October 18, 2023 at about 6:30pm.

The suspects were arrested following the complaints received from the father of the victim on October 19.
Nguroje, an Superintendent of Police, gave the names of the suspects as Abubakar Mohammed, 23; Auwal Usman, 21; and Abdulhamid Musa, 19, all of Kaba Ward in Mubi-South LGA.
Others are Mohammed Abubakar, 37; Umar Mohammed, 20; and Muhammad Nasir, 20, of Maiha Street in Mubi-South LGA.
Nguroje further said the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, directed for investigation, urged parents to take good care of their children and ensure provision of useful information to police.
