The management of Kwara United FC on Friday approved the appointment of Coach Abdullahi Biffo as the new Technical Adviser of the club.
The Media Officer of the team, Abdul Waheed Bibire, in a statement in Lagos said the appointment was with immediate effect.
Bibire also stated that other coaches would remain in their positions.
He said: “The former management, led by Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson had appointed coaches Ashifat Sulaiman and Tafeek Babatunde as Chief Coach and Assistant Coach respectively.
“Coach Biffo last coached Katsina United FC in the recently concluded NPFL season.
“The former Assistant Coach of Kwara United FC has handled other teams that include the defunct Giwa FC, Abia Warriors and Niger Tornadoes.
“Coach Biffo’s immediate task is to lead the Harmony Boys through the on-going Gold Cup Pre-Season competition which kicks off in Ilorin on Thursday.
“This will be a platform which the team is using to finalise its screening and put the team in shape ahead of the coming season.”
