Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has declared that he can score against any opponent after helping his side to a crucial derby victory over Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Osimhen found the net in the high-profile Istanbul clash as Galatasaray strengthened their position at the top of the table and moved closer to the league title.
Speaking after the derby on Sunday, the Nigerian forward expressed confidence in his finishing ability and his role in the team’s title push.
He said: “If I get the chance, I can score against any team.
“That is my job, and I believe I do it well.
“We are getting closer to the championship.”
The match was physically and emotionally intense as both sides battled in one of Turkey’s fiercest football rivalries, with only a few matches left in the title race.
Beyond his on-pitch impact, Osimhen also addressed reported complaints from Fenerbahce over pre-match issues surrounding the game.

He dismissed the criticism and said he could not understand the objections.
He said: “I don’t follow social media, but someone at the training ground mentioned Fenerbahce’s complaint.
“I don’t understand it.
“They are playing against one of the best teams in the league.
“Complaining about something like that doesn’t make much sense.”
His comments reflected the tension between both clubs as they continue their battle for the championship.
Osimhen has remained one of Galatasaray’s key players this season, delivering important goals in crucial matches.
With the title race entering its closing stages, the club will be relying heavily on his goal-scoring form as they push for domestic glory.
