The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has officially received 112 newly graduated Police Constables, who recently completed their training at the Police Training School in Niger State.
The officers are part of the 10,000 recruits who successfully graduated on January 23, 2025.
CP Olatunji Disu, Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, welcomed the new officers on Monday, January 27, 2025, expressing gratitude to the Inspector General of Police for their deployment.
According to CP Disu, the addition of these officers would strengthen the Command’s capacity to enhance public safety and security across the territory.
He encouraged the officers to maintain professionalism, integrity, and discipline in their duties, emphasizing their critical role in safeguarding lives and property within the FCT.

The commissioner stated further that the new officers, as part of their integration, would first take a two-week break before undergoing a specialized retraining program.
This program will refine their skills and prepare them for active field operations.
After retraining, the officers will be strategically posted and attached to experienced police officers who will mentor them, ensuring they uphold the core values and principles of exemplary policing.
The deployment of these well-trained officers reinforces the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to strengthening security operations in the Federal Capital Territory and maintaining the trust and confidence of residents.
