Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, Falconets, have resumed camp in Abuja ahead of their final qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Players and officials reported to camp from April 6, with training sessions commencing on April 7 as preparations intensified for the tie against Malawi.
The team has begun intensive sessions focused on fitness, cohesion and tactical discipline, while the technical crew awaits the arrival of remaining invited players.
Head coach Moses Aduku charged the players to remain focused and disciplined during the opening session.
He emphasised the need for teamwork and determination as the team prepares to face Malawi in the decisive qualifier.
The Falconets will take on Malawi in the first leg in Nigeria on May 2, with the return leg scheduled for a week later in Malawi.

Malawi booked their place in the final round after edging past Guinea Bissau in the previous stage.
Africa will produce four representatives for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Poland from September 5 to 26.
The Falconets are aiming to secure one of the continent’s slots as preparations continue in camp.
