As students of the Ekiti State University resume for studies on Monday, the state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has advised the authorities of the institution to allow students pay their school feels in installments.
Fayemi, who is also the Visitor to the institution, gave the advice after a series of meetings he had with the representatives of the students, the Parents Forum and the authorities of the institution.
The governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Olayinka Oyebode, however said that the format to be adopted for the installmental payment would be worked out by the authorities of the institution and communicated to the students accordingly.
Fayemi urged the students to reciprocate this gesture by complying with the arrangement that would be put in place by the University authorities for the installmental payment of the school fees.
