A Lebanese national working for Retro Construction Company Ltd abducted in Plateau state over the weekend has been released unconditionally.
He had been reported missing in Langtang North Local Government area of Plateau State.
He was suspected to have been kidnapped on Friday night and was consequently declared missing.
The Eagle Online reports that youths in Langtang North Local Government were fingered as being responsible for the kidnapping of the expatriate in the largest Headquarters of Taroh speaking native.
Nandom kura, who said the victim is a Lebanese, however told The Eagle Online that prompt intervention of the police, Langtang Division, soldiers and traditional leaders in the area made the release of the expatriate possible.
There was also an allegation that the staff of Retro Construction Company conspired with the youths to take the man to where he was kept for two days.
He said the kidnappers waited for the Lebanese at a beer parlour close to Tim-Tali Motel at Pa-Jat and took him away after he finished taken his beer.
The company has been working on Langtang-Mikang road township and Yelwa Mabudi road.
