All is now set for the kickoff of the 2024 edition of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference of the Guild of Corporate Publishers (GOCOP) in Lokoja, capital of Kogi State, the Confluence State of Nigeria.
The two-day event tagged Lokoja’24, is to be chaired by Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Spain, Alhaji Yusuf Yaro Mamman.
This is according to the 2024 Conference Planning Committee chairman, Danlami Nmodu, as announced by the Publicity Secretary of GOCOP, Sir Remmy Nweke.

The AGM is holding at Reverton Hotel, 1/5 Kunama Crescent, GRA Lokoja, Kogi State, starting 9am today, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, while the Conference will start 10 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Almost all Publishers and CEOs of Corporate Online outfits in Nigeria are already in the various hotels in Lokoja, ready for the event. The key personalities have been confirmed to be in Lokoja.
According to the Chairman of the Organising Committee, the theme of the 8th annual conference is: “Nigeria: Tackling Insecurity, Power Deficit, and Transitioning to Digital Economy.”
