The Super Eagles of Nigeria are to face the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final of the Africa 2026 World Cup Playoffs (WCP) after they pipped Cameroon in the other semifinal.
The Eagle Online recalls that the Super Eagles whitewashed Gabon 4-1 in the first semifinal of the Africa World Cup Playoffs.

In the second semifinal after the almost two hours contest between Nigeria and Gabon, DRC defeated Cameroon by a lone goal.
Veteran defender Chancel Mbemba made the difference between the two teams with a late second half goal.
The natch between Nigeria and DRC will take place on Sunday in Rabat, Morocco.
