On Wednesday at the 28th Convocation Ceremony of Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State, one of Nigeria’s most outstanding private universities, Anne Temiloluwa Ojo-Lanre, the daughter of Wale Ojo-Lanre emerged as one of the distinguished scholars who proudly received the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations.
The hall erupted in joy as her name was announced, marking the triumphant end of a long, disciplined, and remarkable academic journey.
Temiloluwa began her educational path at Pacesetters Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan, where her brilliance, calm spirit, and early signs of leadership made her stand out among her peers. Temiloluwa’s success is rooted firmly in the educational heritage of her family. Her mother, Moyo Ojo-Lanre, a seasoned school principal, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Adeyemi University of Education and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Ibadan. Her father, Wale Ojo-Lanre, a lawyer and Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, is an accomplished journalist, cultural diplomat, tourism advocate, and legal practitioner. His academic journey spans a Degree in History Education, a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies, a Diploma in Journalism, and a Barrister-at-Law qualification.
