A political movement in the Bayelsa State chapter of the APC, APC Bayelsa Good Governance Group, on Sunday said it had it on good authority that Sylva was annoyed that Lokpobiri had refused to pay the remaining N200 million because he only got the position of a junior minister

“Why is Sylva afraid to be part of a rescheduled election in Southern Ijaw if truly he knows he is popular and on ground there to win the votes of the people? What is Sylva doing moving from one office to the other in Abuja holding nocturnal meetings and begging anyone who he thinks hold the ace to help him become governor again, rather than staying back in Bayelsa to reach out to the people of Southern Ijaw and see if he can manage to get at least ten percent of the votes in the rescheduled election?
A source in the Presidency stated that Buhari was not happy with the APC in Bayelsa and Sylva over alleged pockets of violence during the rescheduled election in Southern Ijaw LGA
In a petition to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, which was copied to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami (SAN), Sylva stated that the commission lacked the powers to cancel already concluded or ongoing election
The Commission made the declaration on Monday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital
