He spoke when the NUPRC Chief Executive, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, visited the Ministry of Finance headquarters in Abuja on Friday.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, disclosed this while speaking during an interview on the sidelines of the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

According to him, the capital market, with improvements in governance structures, new products and platforms, a stronger regulatory environment, and growing investor participation, is capable of delivering Nigeria’s proposed one trillion dollar economy.

Edun made this known at the ongoing Nigerian Investor Forum, held alongside the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC.
