Buhari said the programme was part of her pet project, Future Assured Programme, which was a social intervention aimed at ameliorating poverty among youths and women.
Buhari, who launched the scholarship scheme in Daura on Monday, said the scholarship would cover the six-year primary school education of the beneficiaries.
