The group, in a meeting on Wednesday in Uyo, facilitated by the former Spokesperson of the House of Representatives and immediate past Chairman of Cross River Basin Development Authority, Rt. Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, renewed their political union, saying Tinubu, who is the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, was the only Nigerian alive with the capacity to save the country from the multidimensional socio-economic and ethno-religious distractions and sentiments.

We hereby call on the present Government of Nigeria to do the needful by “courageously” telling Nigerians that “it is no longer secret that it has since 2016 adopted radical Islamism as state religion in Nigeria or any part thereof including Kaduna State”. This will formally allow citizens of other religions including moderate Muslims to rise in defence of their faith and ethnic identities under the constitutional and lawful rights to life and self defence.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau ahead of the oath-taking ceremony slated for May 29 and in compliance with the requirement of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).
