He insisted that the party`s National Executive Committee and the National Working Committee were never part of the problems in the South West PDP
He said the party was no longer playing politics of morality, decency and principle with its decision to promote Kashamu in the scheme of things in the PDP, adding that he could not subject himself to the leadership of a criminal
The group hailed the Court of Appeal for standing firm on its decision to vacate an order of perpetual injunction given by Justice Okechukwu Okeke (rtd.) of the Federal High Court, restraining the Attorney-General of the Federation from entertaining or making any order whatsoever in respect of any request by the United States Government for extraditing Kasamu to the US to answer charges on the alleged drug-related offence

Kashamu said in a statement on Monday that those Obasanjo derogatorily has now labeled as money bag politicians bankrolled his political activities in the past
The suit was filed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Ogun State chapter of the party, Adebayo Dayo and Alhaji Semiu Sodipo.
