In 2010, Team Nigeria failed to win any medal having been a regular medal winning team since table tennis became part of the Commonwealth Games in 2002
Quadri, who has been in superlative form in recent time, inspired Toledos to a resounding victory over Sporting, which has his compatriot, Bode Abiodun
Quadri, who defied all odds to make the last 16 at the International Table Tennis Federation-sanctioned World Tour, tagged Spanish Open, said the attention given to football is really affecting the fortune of other sports, particularly table tennis
It is the fourth ITTF World Tour for Quadri, while Offiong is making her first appearance in the tournament as part of her build up to this month’s World Championship in Japan
