A middle aged man was on Sunday arrested at the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners chapel, in Sabo, Kaduna with explosives.
It was gathered that the man had successfully dropped the explosives inside the premises of the Church.
However, as he stepped out to use a remote control to detonate the bomb, he was caught and arrested by the police.
Attempts by an angry mob to lynch the suspect was averted by security agents.
The arrest of the suspect in the church founded by Bishop David Oyedepo came just as Christians all over the country embarked on street protests over killings in the country.
The Christian Association of Nigeria called for the protest.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, was one of the leaders who took part in the walk against the “continued killings of Christians” in the country.
