Ronaldo gets one-match ban

Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo will be available to face Manchester United, but has been given a one-game ban by UEFA.
The Ballon d’Or winner was sent off against Valencia in the Champions League, and an investigation was opened into his conduct, as is standard procedure.
The Bianconeri made no appeal, given how hard it would be to win one, so CR7 was always facing at least one match out.
On Thursday, UEFA has announced its decision, opting “to suspend the Juventus Football Club player Cristiano Ronaldo for one (1) UEFA competition match for which he would be otherwise eligible”.
That means the Portuguese will miss the match against Young Boys, but will be available for his return to Old Trafford.
