Members of the Super Eagles were offered no match bonuses for their 3-2 to the Red Devils of Congo in Calabar at the weekend.
Sources in the team’s camp exclusively told The EagleOnline that the players were only given the sum of $1,400 as camp allowances.
“The players have gotten their training allowance and no one was ready to give them bonus because of the outcome of the game against Congo,” said the source.
In time past, the Eagles have pocketed the sum of $10,000 as winning bonus courtesy Presidential task force before it was reduced to $5,000.
The AFCON 2013 champions will aim at destroying the Bafana Bafana before their home fans to earn a full bonus on Wednesday.
