Former Police IG Sunday Adewusi is dead

A former Inspector General of Police, Sunday Adewusi, is dead.
Available information said Adewusi died on Tuesday evening at the National Hospital, Abuja.
He was reportedly ill.
Adewusi was 79.
He became the IGP at 45 in 1981.
He was in office until 1983 when he was succeeded by Etim Inyang.
