Female university student found dead in her room

A 300 Level student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, IfeOluwa Adekunle, has been found dead in her room.

According to information made available on Monday, she was found dead in a house outside the university campus.

The death, suspected to have resorted from an attack, occurred on Saturday,

The spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the development on Monday.

The police have since commenced investigation into Adekunle’s death.

Odunlami-Omisanya, a Superintendent of Police, said the killing could be cult-related, as suspected.

She said the remains of Adekunle had since been deposited in the mortuary.
