Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze should be a Liverpool target in the summer.
That is the view of John Barnes, who has been hugely impressed with the 24-year-old Nigerian lately.
Eze was out of the Palace side earlier this term under Patrick Vieira, but has been firing on all cylinders since Roy Hodgson returned to the club.
Barnes told MyBettingSites: “I love him.

“He’s a great player that could fit into any of the top teams in the country.

“Whether Liverpool are interested is another thing but he would fit into the team as one of the three midfield players, as a number 10 or as a wide forward.
“He’s very intelligent and very good on the ball.
“I think he’s been Crystal Palace’s best player.”
