Nigeria’s Super Eagles has concluded their training sessions ahead of tomorrow’s clash against the Red Devils of Congo.
The team led by Coach Stephen Keshi, was early birds at the UJ Esuene Stadium on Friday as they had a light workout which started at exactly 7:30am.
While the goalkeepers’ trainer Ike Shorunmu drilled the goalkeepers, the other members of the team were guided on precise shooting, cohesion and team work.
Meanwhile, fans who had trouped to catch a glimpse of the players were barred from gaining access into the stadium’s main bowl.
Team’s spokesman, Mr. Benjamin Alaiya, said that the final training session is usually closed doors, stressing that is the standard in the national team’ camp.
“We are representing Nigeria and we are ready to make them proud on Saturday. So, we want the fans to bare with us. The boys need to be focus on the task ahead of them so that they can bring glory to their fatherland,” he pleaded.
The match is slated for kick off at 5pm.
