Nigeria’s D’Tigers on Thursday night saw off stiff opposition from Senegal in the semifinal of the 2017 Afrobasket for men in Tunisia.
The Senegalese, former champions of the competition, gave a good account of themselves despite losing the game.
It ended 76-71 points.
In the other semifinal, host Tunisia defeated Mauritius 60-52 points.
This has set up a final clash between D’Tigers and the Tunisians.
