Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has lost his mother.
The news was broken on Saturday, two days before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Round of 16 match.
The encounter will be between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Mambas of Mozambique.
According to a Facebook account posted in the early hours of the day, the Super Eagles shot-stopper is going through an incredibly painful time after losing his mother, just two months after the passing of his father.
