A former Military Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Idongesit Nkanga, is dead.
According to available information, the former Military Governor died on Thursday.
Also the Chairman of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum, Nkanga died in an undisclosed hospital in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, aged 68.
He retired as an Air Commodore in the Nigerian Air Force.
