Justice Usman Na’aana on Tuesday granted an interim injunction restraining Boniface Aniebonam, Agbo Major, and 16 other respondents from parading themselves as national officers or leaders of the party pending the hearing and determination of the motion of notice.

In a statement by its President, Mustapha Isah, and General Secretary, Iyobosa Uwugiaren, the NGE said the Federal Government’s action has the unintended consequence of jeopardising the economic interests of many Nigerians who rely on the social media platform for vital information to make informed business decisions daily.

Prof. James Momoh, Chairman, Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission, said this when the ad hoc Technical Committee on Electricity Tariff submitted its interim report at a reconvened bilateral meeting between the Federal Government and Organised Labour on Monday in Abuja.

The Board of Commissioners of the Commission rose from its meeting recently with this position and is informing all licensed telecommunications operators, prospective investors, industry stakeholders and the general public in that regard, the NCC said in a statement on Wednesday.
