Since Trump’s return to office, a narrative has steadily gathered momentum in Washington: that Nigeria is a theatre of “Christian genocide,” orchestrated or tolerated by Muslim political actors.

Parolin spoke on Tuesday in Rome on the sidelines of the presentation of a report on religious freedom, compiled by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN).

The admonition was contained in a statement issued on Friday and personally signed by the presidential aspirant.

The Islamic human rights group linked such grievances with deradicalisation and traced religious violence to the denial of Islamic fundamental human rights.

According to Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC’s Corps Public Education Officer, Oyeyemi while congratulating the Muslims on the observance of the feast, enjoined them to always show patience while using the road to prevent hazards.
