NANS Chairman in Kaduna State, Huzaifa Bello in a statement disagreed with the JAMB on reasons it gave, hence, called for reasonable extension of electronic registration instead of risking students’ lives to travel to JAMB headquarters in their respective states capital for manual registration.

According to the board’s weekly bulletin obtained from the board’s website by the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday, JAMB has also registered more than 8,000 Direct Entry candidates.

In its weekly bulletin made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Thursday, the Board decried the unwholesome activities of fraudulent operators of cyber cafes, tutorial centres and other entities which deceive hapless candidates by using the board’s logo and name to defraud and extort them.

In a statement signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dr Fabian Benjamin in Abuja, JAMB said that public universities would conclude admissions a month ahead of private institutions, polytechnics and colleges of education.
