The witness, simply identified as AB, gave his testimony behind a barricade, where only the judge, the defendants and the counsel could see him as he was shielded from the public.

Their re-arraignment was sequel to the severance of their trial from that of Nnamdi Kanu, whose whereabout has been unknown since September 2017.
The suspects were arrested on February 27 around WAEC Bus-Stop in Independent Layout within Enugu metropolis at about 1p.m.
Justice Binta Nyako, delivering ruling on the application on Friday, said that Kanu had failed to prove to the court that he was last seen in the company of the army or any soldier.
IPOB, in a statement on Sunday by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, said it had nothing to do with the incident that occurred during an event tagged: “Handshake Across the Niger.”
Powerful said in the statement: “In keeping with our promise to facilitate the creation of an unbiased informative platform to take the message of liberation to the down trodden and oppressed indigenous populations of Northern Nigeria, we the family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide and it’s indomitable leadership, wish to happily announce the official launch of the much anticipated IPOB sponsored Radio Nigeria Hausa Service.
The group leader added that the Niger Delta was never part of Biafra before it became defunct, stressing that the parts that were coerced into the failed project were victim of occupation by Biafran militants.
He said: “It is important that the ICC should look into this. We are aware that a lot of human rights are being violated by the so-called militants in the Niger Delta, but this is not something that should be swept under the rug
It also urged the Federal Government to address the infrastructural decay in the South East and South South geopolitical zones, especially the federal roads, which are in bad conditions
The group said it is lending its voice to the demand for the prosecution of all those involved in the heinous act by the appropriate security agencies that must also confront IPOB collaborators who seek to use such provocation to trigger widespread unrests in Nigeria
The police said in a statement by its spokesperson, Olabisi Kolawole, that the protests had infringed on the rights and freedom of innocent citizens who were ordinarily going about their lawful businesses
