Lawan made the call on Wednesday in separate audiences with the Ambassadors of Turkey, Hidayet Bayraktar and South Korea, Kim Young-Chae who paid him visits in his office at the National Assembly.

Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, while hosting the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayet Bayraktar, at a courtesy visit on Thursday in Abuja, said the House would establish its friendship group in a couple of days.
The President spoke at a ceremony to receive Letters of Credence from Ambassadors of Republic of Bulgaria, Yanko Yordanou; People’s Republic of China, Cui Jianchun; High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Tayyab Azan; and Ambassadors of Republic of Turkey, Hidayet Bayraktar and Ukraine, Valerii Kirdoda, at the State House.
