Dr. Umar stated this at the commemoration of 2025 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Thursday in Yola, the state capital.

The call was made on Thursday by UNESCO representative and the Executive Director, GirlUp Africa, Chikaodi Omokide.
“When we conceived this contribution to the national COVID-19 support initiative, our main objective was to ensure that our chosen investee companies delivered quality installations quickly and safely to help save lives,” said Dr. Wiebe Boer, All On CEO.
The Lagos State Government has urged the public to desist from stigmatising health facilities that might have been exposed to COVID-19 cases in the state.
The state government also said that the training of auxiliary nurses in private facilities would no longer be tolerated.
