The people of the clans said the PDP was the only party that has been fair to the communities in terms of political appointments and provision of infrastructure

The Restoration Campaign Organisation said the survey was obviously sponsored by the APC leadership, while the so-called Election Frontline simply sat in Lagos and wrote its report

He said: “There is no room for other parties in the state, especially in the forthcoming governorship election.
“I have come to educate you on the need for the Peoples Democratic Party to win the forthcoming election in the state because the election is about you and Ijaw nation

Dickson had rounded off his extensive campaign tour to the Ogboin Kingdom, meeting the people in Otuan, Amassoma and Amatolo communities on his re-election bid and solicited their support

The governor, during his three days community to community-based campaign, visited Koluama one and two, Foropa, Ukubie, Ogboinbiri, Olugbobiri and Korokorosei, Igbomotoru, Peremabiri and Azuzuama
In all the communities visited, the people came out in their numbers to give the campaign train a rousing reception with drumming, singing and dancing to solidarity songs

At the Summit, almost all the candidates contesting the December 5 governorship poll in the state, including Chief Timipre Sylva of the All Progressives Congress, signed an undertaking to keep the peace before, during and after the election

He said anyone who loved the Ijaw nation would not have anything to do with the APC and congratulated them for dumping it for the PDP

He said the meeting was to harness and plan on the prospects of the Peoples Democratic Party in winning the election
