Governor Fayose alerted the international community to the imminent danger being posed to Nigeria by the APC-led Federal Government.

Governor Fayose, who hailed the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, for the swift composition of a new panel to hear appeals over the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, urged the panel to be mindful of delay tactics by the same people who wrote frivolous petition to impugn on the integrity of the initial panel

Condemning the attacks in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Yinka Oyebode, Governor Fayemi described it as barbaric and inhuman, stressing that an end should be found to the spate of attacks by the outlawed groups and other insurgent groups in the country

The tour, which will take the governor to no fewer than 132 communities across the 16 local government areas of the state, is to allow him inspect ongoing projects, commission completed projects and get the inputs of the various communities into the 2014 Budget, through the Town Hall meetings, which will be the highpoint of the tour

The group said judging by the report of its Governance Assessment Committee, which carried out fact-finding visit to the state and was satisfied with what it met on ground, Fayemi deserved a second term in office for the continuation of his people-oriented policies
