The Judge gave the warning as the trial of five men charged with the murder of one Ifeanyi Etunmuse began.
The defendants, whose addresses were unknown, are facing a three-count charge of obstruction of duty, possession of charms and assault.
The spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed this in a statement on Sunday, saying the confiscation of the arms and arrest of the suspects was carried out on Saturday after the protest calling for the dissolution of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad turned violent.
The police charged Owolabi, who resides at Ikorodu Road, Lagos, with criminal possession of charms.
The suspects: Paul Chibuzor, David Daniels, Tolu Ogundowole, Tosin Ogundowole, Agwu Goodness, Olayiwola Azeez, Olamide Ijisesan, Chilaka Dickson, Abdullahi Abubakar and Temitope Bambo, were picked up from their hideout in the Basin area of Ilorin, Kwara State on October 21, 2019 following reports of their alleged involvement in cyber crime.
