The Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, told the News Agency of Nigeria that it was a reprisal on the command after it had put a situation under control earlier around Surulere, Baboko and Oja Tuntun areas of the state capital.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the command, DSP Ajayi Okasanmi, disclosed this while speaking with the newsmen at the scene of the incident.
