Tottenham midfielder, Dele Alli, is eager to experience the White Hart Lane atmosphere for the first time ahead of Saturday’s visit of Stoke City.
The youngster made his debut during last weekend’s disappointing defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford as a late substitute after missing out on Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line up.
The former MK Dons man is determined to bounce back and claim a place in the north London club’s side for the visit of Mark Hughes’ team in order to feel the support of the Spurs’ faithful.
“I can’t wait for my first home game! It will be amazing to experience the atmosphere created by all the Tottenham fans – obviously they were great at Old Trafford last week but I’m really excited to finally go out and play at home with everyone right behind the team,” the 19-year-old told the club’s official website.
“I’ve been to a few games at White Hart Lane before to watch matches, but it’d be amazing to play there. It’s up to the gaffer if I play or not, but I’ll be working as hard as I can on and off the pitch so that if he calls upon me I’m ready.”
