President Bola Tinubu has signed the Electoral Act, 2022 (Repeal and Re-Enactment) Bill, 2026 into law.
The National Assembly had on Tuesday harmonised the bill before sending it to President Tinubu for his signature.
The lawmakers in the Senate and House of Representatives approved electronic transmission of election results, with manual collation retained as a back up.
